We are partnered with a growing pharmaceutical manufacturing operation that's seeking a

Senior-level Health Physicist

to support a growing pharmaceutical manufacturing operation. This individual will play a key role in maintaining and advancing radiation safety and environmental health & safety (EHS) programs across the site. This is a hands-on, highly collaborative position that partners closely with operations, quality, and engineering teams to ensure regulatory compliance and safe working environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Support and help manage site-wide radiation safety and EHS programs
Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations
Partner with cross-functional teams to provide technical guidance on safety-related matters
Contribute to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of safety programs and procedures
Prepare and maintain documentation to support regulatory requirements and internal standards
Participate in audits, inspections, and corrective action initiatives
Assist with permitting, licensing, and regulatory submissions as needed
Support emergency preparedness and response planning activities
Develop and deliver training related to safety programs and best practices
Monitor and analyze safety metrics to identify trends and drive improvements

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Health Physics, Engineering, or a related scientific field highly preferred
5+ years of professional experience in radiation safety, health physics, or a related EHS function
Experience with dose assessment, modeling, or shielding software tools
Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., NRC, EPA, DOT, or equivalent)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Experience supporting manufacturing or highly regulated environments preferred
