Senior FEA Analysis Engineer (Defense)

Chandler, AZ area

The Role
Lead the Analysis team in performing static and dynamic stress analysis for defense-related product development. You will utilize advanced FEA solvers to identify failure modes and recommend design solutions to reduce risk during testing and deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership:
Direct workloads and train analysis staff while performing high-level static and dynamic FEA.
System Analysis:
Require extensive experience in seating systems and ground vehicle dynamics.
Strategic Oversight:
Support department budgeting, bids, and technical reporting using Abaqus, Optistruct, or LS-DYNA.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience:
10+ years in static and dynamic stress analysis.
Technical Depth:
Expert understanding of FEA theory and experience with DoD platforms (ground combat, marine, or aircraft).
Desired Skills:
PhD, experience with composite materials, and proficiency in SolidWorks.
