We are hiring a

Payroll Administrator

to support end-to-end payroll operations for a growing organization. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with hands-on payroll processing experience who can ensure accurate and timely payroll while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
The position will work closely with HR, Finance, and employees to manage payroll transactions, deductions, reporting, and employee inquiries in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Process weekly, bi-weekly, or semi-monthly payroll accurately and on time
Maintain employee payroll records including new hires, terminations, status changes, and deductions
Manage garnishments, benefits deductions, taxes, direct deposits, and off-cycle payments
Review timekeeping records and resolve payroll discrepancies
Generate payroll reports for Finance, HR, and leadership teams
Ensure compliance with payroll laws, wage regulations, and company policies
Reconcile payroll balances, benefit contributions, and related accounts
Respond to employee payroll questions and provide excellent internal customer service
Support year-end activities including W-2 processing and audits
Assist with payroll system updates, process improvements, and special projects
Qualifications
2+ years of payroll processing experience
Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, Paycor, UKG, Ceridian, or similar
Strong understanding of payroll taxes, deductions, and compliance requirements
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
Ability to prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Multi-state payroll experience
Experience supporting 300+ employees
CPP/FPC certification a plus
