About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization in its mission of providing accessible, high-quality, and trauma-informed care. The successful candidate will be a visionary advocate with a passion for mental health and human services, dedicated to championing accessibility, equity, and best-in-class clinical outcomes. This role is pivotal in guiding the organization through a critical time for mental health access, with a focus on long-term sustainability and growth. The CEO will be responsible for strategic vision, governance, and financial sustainability, including the development and implementation of measurable objectives, strategies, and budgets. They will also serve as the chief spokesperson, fostering strong external relationships and advocating for the organization's mission.
Applicants for the CEO position at the company should have a minimum of 7 years' of progressive experience in nonprofit leadership, with a proven track record in fundraising, financial management, and staff development. The ideal candidate will have strong analytic and strategic-thinking skills, the ability to create and monitor complex plans, and a history of stability and success in their career. While not required, current or prior licensure as a clinical professional is strongly preferred, and a Master's degree or higher in behavioral health or healthcare administration is also desirable. The role demands a leader who can balance fiscal health with the compassionate delivery of services, and who is committed to nurturing a diverse, equitable, and highly engaged staff culture.
