WD30267117**3rd Shift Team Lead****What you will do**The 3rd Shift Team Lead is part of SK’s newly constructed battery manufacturing plant. This is a performance based, 12-year, O&M contract providing hard services of MEP equipment within the facility, excluding the manufacturing and production equipment. The objective is to maintain a seamless environment by assuring that equipment is performing to specifications to facilitate uninterrupted manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have strong maintenance/hands on technical experience and leadership background.The role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance activities of the HVAC and related systems in the facility. This includes managing a team of technicians, coordinating and prioritizing work orders, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining a high level of customer service. In addition, the role is responsible for oversight and performance of a variety of repairs and services in a specialized building system environment with a high emphasis on HVAC, Mechanical Systems, building maintenance. Working knowledge of Electrical / Electronic BAS, and other similar types of related equipment and low voltage systems is a plus.**How you will do it*** Supervise and provide guidance to a team of facilities technicians, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing feedback and coaching.
+ Meeting with your team at the beginning of the shift to: pass out radios, do PJC’s* Coordinate and prioritize work orders and maintenance activities to ensure timely completion and efficient use of resources.* Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs and address any issues promptly.* Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize the lifespan of equipment and minimize downtime.* Accomplishing repairs for HVAC, Boilers, Chillers, Pumps, electrical systems, fire alarm systems, security systems, and building automation systems.* Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards and promote a culture of safety among the team.* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment repairs, and inventory management.* Collaborate with external contractors to coordinate and schedule maintenance, repairs, and renovations.* Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve facility operations.* Service, Repair, Maintain, Monitor and Adjust HVAC systems to keep within allowable parameters.* Provides direction and training to less experienced O&M Specialists.* Plans, selects, and lays out required materials for service, repair, and preventive maintenance work.* Works from drawings, schematics, blueprints, job layouts or verbal instructions and operates a variety of tools and machines incidental to operations.* Requisitions new supplies and equipment.* Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.* Is required to participate in an on-call rotation schedule to attend to emergency situations at the facility.* Complies with all company policies and procedures and adhere to company standards.* Perform other duties as required.**What we look for
*Preferred Requirements*:*** Two-year technical degree or two years’ experience as an Operations & Maintenance Specialist, or completion of an apprenticeship program.* Proven experience in facilities operations, maintenance, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.* Requires in-depth knowledge of various maintenance fundamentals sufficient to deal with service and repairs.* Knowledge of the following trades/skills: electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team.* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.* Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.* Working on mission critical projects* Knowledge of OSHA codes and regulations* Working knowledge of Metasys (BMS) and low voltage control systems.* Must be physically able to perform basic maintenance tasks to the highest caliber, which includes ability to: climb ladders, work in confined spaces, lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs., etc.* Must be able to work varying shifts, weekends, holidays, and special maintenance events as needed.* Required to use a variety of hand and power tools or man lift.* Requires Universal EPA Refrigeration Certification.* May be required to possess a valid driver’s license.* Must be able to pass a thorough background check and subject interviewHIRING SALARY RANGE: $76,100 - $100,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
