Product Operations Lead | North Virginia
Job Summary
The Product Operations Lead is part of the store leadership team responsible for executing the store product strategy, including product operations and inventory management. The role leads inventory shifts, oversees all back‑of‑house (BOH) product operations, and ensures both the floor and BOH are stocked and organized. The Lead provides input to performance evaluations and hiring decisions, serves as Supervisor on Duty (SOD) while leading shifts, and delivers a world‑class guest experience when on the floor.
Core Responsibilities of the Job
Collaborate with store leadership to bring product strategy to life.
Proactively plan, prioritize, manage, and lead inventory processing and accuracy activities in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Ensure execution of product actions such as pull backs, consolidations, and repricing.
Engage team members in inventory management by creating a fun and productive atmosphere for the shift.
Monitor product levels and communicate findings to support sell‑through strategy and optimal product availability for guests.
Review and interpret daily business data and metrics to inform actions, e.g., analyzing sell‑through data to recommend product focus or pricing.
Participate in the store’s hiring process, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, and training.
Address team member performance and support ongoing learning and development through direct feedback, coaching, demonstrations, and hands‑on experiences.
Contribute to a respectful and inclusive team environment by establishing supportive relationships with team members.
When supervising on duty during open hours, lead from the floor to ensure guests receive technical product education and a world‑class experience.
Key Requirements
Must be legally authorized to work in the country where the store is located.
Must have reliable transportation to travel to the assigned store.
Schedule / Availability
Work schedule varies based on store needs.
Shifts typically include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
During peak times, special events, or other circumstances, the schedule may include early mornings or late nights/overnights for some team members.
Experience
One year of work experience.
Some experience with inventory management, product or visual merchandising, stocking, or planning and logistics, including using business technology.
Some experience in leading, mentoring, delegating, or implementing processes with others.
Job Assets (Nice to Have)
High school diploma/GED or equivalent education.
Retail, sales, distribution center, or warehouse operations experience.
Food safety and/or liquor service certification for experiential stores with food/beverage service.

Work occasionally involves moving boxes weighing up to 30 lbs and using ladders to reach materials.
For experiential stores with food/beverage service, work may involve using industrial kitchen equipment and exposure to heat in order to prepare food or beverages.
Compensation & Benefits Package
Base Pay Range: $24.00 – $27.61 per hour, subject to minimum wage in the location.
Target Bonus: $2.00 per hour.
Total Target Base Pay Range: $26.00 – $29.61 per hour.
