Premier Enterprise Solutions is seeking a senior-level Staff Officer SME IV to serve as a trusted advisor on space intelligence policy, strategy, and oversight supporting the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence & Security (OUSW(I&S)).

Position Overview

This role operates at the intersection of:
Space Operations
Intelligence Policy
National Security Strategy
You will directly support OSIP leadership by shaping space intelligence policy, coordinating across the Defense Intelligence Enterprise (DIE), and delivering executive-level products to senior DoD, IC, and Congressional stakeholders.
This is a high-visibility, high-impact role requiring strategic thinking, precision writing, and the ability to operate in complex interagency environments.
Required Qualifications

Clearance
Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
SAP eligibility required
Education
Bachelor's degree required
Preferred fields:
Aerospace Engineering
Physics / Astrodynamics
Intelligence Studies
National Security
Experience
10+ years as a Staff Officer, Action Officer, or equivalent
Experience supporting:
DoD / IC policy and strategy
Space intelligence or space operations
Experience (continued)
Drafting executive-level briefings and decision papers
Supporting flag/GO or SES leadership
Coordinating across:
DIE
IC
CCMDs
Joint Staff
International partners
Skills & Competencies
Exceptional writing and policy development skills
Expert-level Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong understanding of:
DoD staffing processes
Correspondence standards (DoDM 5110.04)

Develop and evaluate space intelligence policies and strategies
Translate national and DoD-level guidance into actionable policy and implementation plans
Align intelligence capabilities with Space Operations mission needs
Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination
Coordinate across the DIE, DoD, IC, CCMDs, Joint Staff, and international partners
Represent OSIP in:
Working groups
Governance boards
Interagency engagements
Drive collaboration across complex, multi-organizational environments
Senior Leadership Support
Prepare and deliver:
Executive briefings
Decision papers
Staff packages
Support reporting to:
OUSW(I&S) leadership
Congress
Executive Branch stakeholders
Facilitate meetings, conferences, and high-level engagements
Space Intelligence Oversight
Support governance and oversight of space intelligence activities
Monitor execution of intelligence strategies across:
CCMDs
Services
International Engagement
Provide SME support to Partner Engagement (PE) teams
Support coordination with:
Foreign Liaison Officers (FLOs)
Partner nations
Enable collaboration on global space intelligence initiatives
Information Management & Compliance
Maintain SOPs and documentation for space intelligence processes
Ensure compliance with DoD records management policies
Support secure information sharing across DoD and IC systems
Reporting & Deliverables
Executive briefings and white papers (ad hoc)
Meeting minutes (within 5 business days)
Travel reports (within 10 business days)
Contributions to Monthly Status Reports
