About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Compliance and Integrity Officer (CCIO) to lead its enterprise-wide compliance and integrity program. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the program is in alignment with the organization's strategy and regulatory requirements, and for promoting a culture of ethics, accountability, and patient-centered care. This role is pivotal in identifying, assessing, and managing compliance and regulatory risks, and the CCIO will be expected to optimize the existing compliance program, streamline processes, and enhance overall effectiveness. The ideal candidate should be a visible and approachable leader, with a strong background in healthcare, and the ability to build trust, develop teams, and foster collaboration.
Applicants for the CCIO position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree and an advanced degree, with a preference for a J.D., Master's, or other advanced degree. A CHC certification is required within 12 months of hire. The role demands a candidate with at least 10 years' of experience in healthcare, a deep understanding of corporate compliance and privacy programs, and knowledge of relevant laws and regulations. Experience in an academic medical center or complex integrated healthcare delivery system is strongly desired. The CCIO will also be expected to work closely with the Board and Board committees on compliance matters, and to ensure that compliance education and engagement are integrated throughout the organization. The successful candidate should be adept at navigating a complex regulatory landscape and be committed to supporting the delivery of high-quality pediatric care.
