The ideal candidate for the Colleague Experience Manager position has experience in all areas of the Human Resources function. The responsibilities include payroll processing, benefit administration, recruitment and retention, colleague relations, counseling, safety, and training/development. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Human Resources and Area Director of Human Resources.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a personalized colleague onboarding experience that focuses on the uniqueness and caring culture of Hyatt Regency Clearwater Resort and Spa.
Maintain fluency in all elements of the HR function and work closely with operational leaders to proactively identify ways to enhance the colleague experience, constantly driving colleague engagement and reducing team member turnover.
Process weekly payroll and train new leaders on payroll management.
Play an active role in the ongoing development of hotel colleagues, including identifying and leading formal learning sessions as well as leading colleague feedback discussions.
Maintain a proactive safety culture. Hold routine Safety Committee meetings & walkthroughs. Respond to all work-related injuries. Partner with hotel management team and LOA business partner to provide the best support, guidance, and care needed for our colleagues to be their best.

Qualifications
A minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, preferably in a similar setting.
Previous operational leadership experience preferred.
Refined oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, guests and business partners.
Established experience as a team leader, with proven ability to strategically install practices to achieve business goals and motivate team members.
Be computer literate and fully conversant with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to adapt to various situations as they arise, display empathy in all interactions with both colleagues and participants, evaluate departmental practices to continually enhance the colleague experience, and encourage collaboration and creativity among team members.
