Job Description Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Provide high-quality, patient-centered care as a skilled RN in a Medical Progressive Care unit dedicated to complex stepdown patient populations. You’ll thrive in a dynamic 27-bed environment, utilizing your experience and expertise to deliver excellent care and collaborate in a team-focused, supportive setting. Schedule:36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts (7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.)Every other weekend commitment (Sat/Sun)Float to inpatient units as needed when census is low Qualifications:Active RN licenseMinimum 2 years of progressive care nursing experience, including titrating drips (norepinephrine, nicardipine, precedex, insulin, diltiazem)Required certifications: BLS, ACLSProficient in comprehensive assessments, peripheral lab draws, and EKG monitoringFamiliarity with Alaris Pumps and Epic EMR preferredAdaptable, collaborative personality with a strong empathetic approach Responsibilities:Manage a 1:3 or 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, caring for patients with sepsis, respiratory distress, substance abuse, endocrine/psych/renal disordersMonitor, assess, and document patient progress using Epic EMRInitiate and titrate critical drips per protocol and respond effectively to changes in clinical statusFloat to other inpatient areas as organizational needs dictateDemonstrate professional conduct, wearing navy scrubs in accordance with departmental dress code Benefits and Perks:Comprehensive orientation, including Epic training as neededSupportive team atmosphere with resources for personal and professional growthFull access to modern clinical equipment in a well-appointed setting If you are an adaptable RN with strong progressive care experience who values teamwork and patient advocacy, this opportunity offers a meaningful role in a respected progressive care environment.
