Schedule:36 hours guaranteed per weekShift options: 0630-1900 or 1830-0700Every other weekend requiredHoliday coverage as needed Qualifications:Current RN licenseMinimum 1 year Stepdown/PCU experienceActive BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certificationsMust live more than 50 miles from the hospital and not work at any related system facilityValid driver’s license (required for submission)Willingness to comply with fingernail policy (no artificial nails)Ability to pass a skills exam (90%+ required, open book) Responsibilities:Care for patients with conditions including sepsis, STEMI, CHF, stroke, COVID, and multisystem failureTitrate various drips: Heparin, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitroglycerin, among othersIndependently interpret cardiac rhythms/monitor stripsCollaborate with support staff and charge nursesFloat to MedSurg, Inpatient Rehab, or Skilled Care units as neededEngage in bedside reporting, hourly rounding, and facilitate smooth patient admissions/discharges Benefits & Travel Perks:Enjoy comprehensive healthcare coverage, travel assistance, generous tax-advantaged stipends for housing and meals, a robust 401(k), and enduring job security.
