Superintendent
The Superintendent will be responsible for managing all on-site construction activities from project mobilization through closeout. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage daily field operations for higher education construction projects
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field staff to maintain schedule and workflow
- Enforce jobsite safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards
- Monitor project progress and proactively resolve field challenges
- Conduct regular site meetings with subcontractors and project stakeholders
- Maintain detailed documentation including daily logs, safety reports, and inspections
- Ensure construction quality aligns with plans, specifications, and project standards
- Collaborate with Project Managers and ownership teams to maintain project alignment
- Mentor and support junior field staff to promote professional development

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership ability and proven experience managing commercial construction projects. Qualifications include:
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
- Experience with higher education, institutional, or large-scale commercial projects preferred
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and trade coordination
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Experience with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar) is a plus
