Position Summary

We are seeking an Electronics Technician, Maintenance II to support range operations at Eglin AFB, FL. This full‑time, non‑exempt position requires troubleshooting, repair, alignment, and operation of complex electronic equipment, including radar and test instrumentation systems.
Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, align, and operate complex electronic equipment.
Operate and troubleshoot computer‑controlled instrumentation, as well as analog and digital interface equipment.
Utilize operational knowledge of test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, power meters, and frequency counters. Demonstrate knowledge of RF components and radar subsystems, including transmitters, receivers, and servo systems.
Interface with military and civilian test customers to ensure mission success.
Perform additional duties such as safety, security, PIPR, and TMDE as assigned.
Work Conditions

Duties performed both indoors and outdoors.
Outdoor work may involve high humidity and uneven surfaces.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
Job demands require physical dexterity and flexibility; ability to sit, stand, kneel, and climb.
Must wear company‑provided personal protective equipment such as hearing protectors, safety glasses, and gloves.
Compliance with all applicable USAF and SA‑TECH safety rules, regulations, and policies is required.
Changing work locations, shift changes, and overtime may be required to support operations.
Requirements

Education/Experience/Skills
Associate’s degree in electronics or an equivalent technical qualification, plus a minimum of three years’ experience in related duties.
Well‑rounded experience with radar systems.
Good working knowledge of troubleshooting, repair, alignment, and operation of complex electronic equipment.
Understanding of computer‑controlled instrumentation and analog/digital interface equipment.
Operational knowledge of test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, power meters, and frequency counters.
Knowledge of RF components and ground‑based radar subsystems, including transmitters, receivers, and servo systems is highly desirable.
Current driver’s license required; employee must be able to be insured under company vehicle insurance policy while driving work or government vehicles during working hours and throughout employment.
U.S. citizenship required. Must obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Secret Clearance prior to hire and throughout employment.
All candidates will be required to pass background screening, including SSN, driver record, and criminal background investigation.
