Carrier Enterprise (CE) is a premier national distributor specializing in residential and light commercial Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) products, parts, and supplies. We operate primarily in the B2B environment, selling our products through licensed HVAC dealers and contractors. These dealers are independent companies that sell, deliver, and service Carrier, Bryant & Payne products to residences and businesses in their respective markets.
With over 200+ locations across 28 states, Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, Latin America, Mexico, and Canada, we are well‑positioned to meet our customers’ HVAC/R needs.
Job Responsibilities
Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to perform accurate HVAC takeoffs and equipment selections
Develop clear and detailed estimates to support the outside sales team in quoting projects
Create and maintain takeoff schedules and organized project documentation
Work closely with outside sales representatives to ensure alignment on project scope, timelines, and customer needs
Communicate with vendors and manufacturers to obtain pricing, product details, and availability
Identify scope gaps, discrepancies, and potential risks within project documents
Assist in developing competitive and value‑driven solutions to support project wins
Track bid timelines and ensure estimates are completed within required deadlines
Support revisions, updates, and change orders throughout the project lifecycle
Maintain accuracy and consistency across all estimating activities to support operational efficiency
Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes and workflow
Requirements
Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
1-3 years of Experience in HVAC, construction, estimating, or related field preferred
Qualifications
Working knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and applications preferred
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal teams
Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions
Self‑motivated with a strong sense of accountability and urgency
