Human Resource Manager - HVAC Products | Carrier Enterprise | Houston, TX
Job Summary
The Human Resource Manager-Field
is a key advisor who provides high-level business partnership to the Region President and Leadership team. The role drives People initiatives to align with company goals and priorities and oversees all key HR areas including Compensation, Benefits, Succession Planning, Performance Management, Recruiting, and Employee Engagement. The manager fosters a People First culture through teamwork, accountability and innovation.
Duties And Responsibilities
Partner with the Regional President and regional leaders to understand goals and drive business results; act as a change agent to support business transformation and company initiatives.
Manage the Incentive Compensation process, including deployment and tracking; ensure managers and associates understand plan structure and payout.
Lead the region's Performance Management process, including goal setting, performance feedback, career discussions and compliance.
Lead talent reviews for Leadership Development Review (LDR) and Associate Development Review (ADR); manage 9-Box assessments and create Individual Development Plans (IDP) for high-potential associates.
Provide guidance on employee relations issues; conduct investigations and review write-ups as needed.
Partner with recruiting to develop sourcing strategies, hire top talent, and provide interview support for leadership roles; collaborate on collegiate recruiting efforts.
Lead compensation initiatives, including merit planning, promotions/salary adjustments and IC administration.
Leverage HR analytics and KPIs to drive data-informed decisions that support strategic initiatives.
Coordinate with HR Centers of Excellence (Benefits, Compensation, Payroll and HRIS) to ensure high service levels for clients.
Participate in regional and HQ committees and special projects.
Qualifications
Strong background in performance management, employee relations, compensation, training/development, employment law and change management.
Proven track record in resolving employee relations issues and implementing positive outcomes.
Experience deploying variable compensation programs and sales commission plans.
Previous experience staffing and recruiting for multiple locations required.
Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize, and handle multiple projects with deadlines.
Ability to gain trust and credibility with clients at all organizational levels.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal); influencer.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Teams.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree; graduate degree is a plus.
5-7 years of progressive Human Resources experience; experience supporting multiple locations is required.
