Job Description
This full‑time position with benefits offers a 3‑month learning/proficiency period. As a school nutrition assistant you will work in an active and exciting cafeteria team, serving students and faculty Monday through Friday during the school year.
Responsibilities
Assist in preparing and serving wholesome, nutritious food.
Lift up to 50 pounds on occasion and remain on your feet for a substantial portion of the shift.
Keep the kitchen and dining area compliant with health department regulations.
Sweep, mop, and dispose of trash as needed.
Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
Qualifications
Passionate about working with children.
Dependable and able to adhere to a fixed work schedule.
Knowledgeable about quality food and service; able to deliver it politely, fun, and engaging.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Working Conditions
Fast‑paced, lively, and welcoming atmosphere focused on safety, quality, and service.
Selection Procedure
All qualified applicants will be contacted for an interview.
Internal applicants must know how to cashier and have scored at least 3.0 on the last evaluation.
