Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Director of Food and Nutrition Services, the Nutrition Support Dietitian provides nutrition care for adult and geriatric patients. This role focuses on assessment, intervention, and monitoring of nutritional needs to support patient outcomes.
Compensation
Pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to job-specific requirements, individual experience, internal pay equity, and organizational needs/budget considerations, all in alignment with our RML's compensation philosophy.
Additionally, you may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program based on both individual and organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver nutrition care using the Nutrition Care Process (assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring, evaluation)
Document care in EMR and dietary systems
Manage and write nutrition orders, including oral, enteral, and parenteral nutrition
Provide education to patients, families, and staff
Participate in medical rounds and discharge planning
Address patient meal concerns and conduct meal rounds
Support formulary management and nutrition-related resources
Assist with policy development, quality improvement, and research initiatives
Lead or participate in educational programs and precept students
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition/Dietetics
Registered Dietitian with current Illinois license
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (critical care or similar setting preferred)
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience with EMR and nutrition documentation systems preferred
Working Conditions
Combination of office and patient care environment
May be required to work across facilities
