
Banquet Manager

The Banquet Manager is responsible for coordinating and supervising all banquet events to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction. This role involves managing staff, liaising with clients, and ensuring events run smoothly from setup to breakdown.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and oversee all banquet functions and events
Coordinate with clients to understand event requirements, menus, and schedules
Supervise banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and setup crews
Ensure proper room setup, décor, and equipment based on event specifications
Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food service
Monitor service standards and ensure guest satisfaction throughout events
Handle client concerns or complaints promptly and professionally
Manage inventory of banquet supplies, linens, and equipment
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Prepare event reports, staffing schedules, and budgets
Qualifications:
Proven experience in hospitality, event management, or food & beverage service
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
Knowledge of catering operations and banquet service standards
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
2–5 years of experience in banquet/event operations or similar role
Fast-paced, customer-focused environment
Requires standing for long periods and lifting moderate weight
Work schedule varies based on event bookings
