
Head Golf Course Superintendent

Located in Savannah, GA. Crosswinds Golf Club is a premier 27‑hole public golf facility featuring an 18‑hole Championship course and a 9‑hole Par 3 course.
Head Superintendent will report to Crosswinds Golf Club General Manager. No member board.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily opening and closing of the maintenance facility
Manage daily setup and maintenance of all 27 holes
Ensure all equipment is properly serviced and operational (daily, weekly, monthly, annually)
Apply chemicals, fertilizers, and fungicides per schedule
Maintain an active Chemical Spray License
Supervise assistant superintendents and maintenance staff
Manage payroll within budget guidelines
Communicate and report issues to the General Manager
Order consumables, tools, and equipment using proper PO procedures
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized maintenance facility
Assist with special projects and support other areas of property as needed
Upkeep of clubhouse and parking lot landscaping
Collaborate with the General Manager on
Annual chemical, fertilizer, and fungicide programs
Development of the yearly maintenance budget
Attend regular meetings with the General Manager (weekly or as needed)
Operate various hand tools and maintenance equipment
Proficient in aerification practices
