While PRN positions lack benefits like paid time off and health insurance, they often offer higher rates of pay to compensate for the absence of benefits. PRN work can vary from a few patient assignments to many, and may include weekend or holiday shifts with premium pay rates.
PRN therapy provides opportunities to maintain skills, network with colleagues, and experience a broad range of patient populations.
