Responsibilities

Evaluates and treats patients in home settings
Communicates with families, physicians, and other health care professionals
Maintains daily, thorough documentation of services in the EMR
Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited college or university with a Doctoral/Masters/Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy
Education and/or Experience: New graduate applicants welcome + Experienced Therapists
Actively Licensed as a VA Occupational Therapist

No long-term contracts: PRN work can vary from a few patient assignments to several, depending on demand; therapists are not tied to a specific facility for extended periods.
Weekend and holiday shifts may occur with premium pay rates.
Skill maintenance: PRN work keeps therapists engaged and sharpens clinical skills by exposure to different patient cases.

Compensation

$110 per evaluation + 2 unit tx, competitive rates for PRN therapist.
