How you’ll make an impact in this role
Contact patients before surgery to confirm all required education and assessments are completed
Conduct thorough interviews to ensure patients understand the procedure, preparation, and expectations
Review medical history, medications, and overall health to identify any risks or concerns
Coordinate with physicians and arrange additional pre-operative tests when necessary
Advise patients on scheduling, transportation, and planning for hospital stay and recovery
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
