Summary
A growing, international law firm is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented paralegal to join its legal team. This role offers hands‑on exposure to complex legal matters, working closely with attorneys and partners to support case management, document workflows, and research initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a key role in coordinating documents, managing case workflows, and ensuring matters progress efficiently in a fast‑paced corporate environment.
Responsibilities
Assist attorneys with drafting, proofreading, and finalizing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence
Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents are accurately maintained and easily accessible
Maintain court calendars and track deadlines to ensure timely filings and compliance with court requirements
Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorney review using West Law and Lexis and Harvey for practice management
Communicate with clients to gather information, schedule meetings, and provide case status updates
Prepare and file legal documents with agencies, courts, including e‑filing and processing
Assist with discovery, including document collection, review, and organization of evidence
Coordinate and prepare materials for depositions, hearings, and trial proceedings
Review, summarize, and organize case‑related documents, records, and transcripts
Support attorneys with administrative tasks, including scheduling, billing coordination, and general case support
Pre‑trial and trial experience is a must
Docketing
E‑filing in state and federal courts and jurisdictions
Bluebook and Cite Checking
Qualifications
2-5 years of paralegal or legal assistant experience, preferably in a corporate or law firm setting
Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certification preferred
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and document formatting
Experience with document management systems (e.g., Clio, iManage, Everlaw, DISCO or similar)
Experience with Everlaw and DISCO or other cloud‑native eDiscovery and document management platforms to handle large‑scale litigation, investigations, and document reviews efficiently
Demonstrated experience with legal research, writing, and document drafting
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills as firm works with a lot of government agencies and governments so accuracy is vital for their regulatory and litigation practices
Skills
Experience supporting document review, organization, and production processes
Familiarity with basic discovery concepts, including document review and confidentiality considerations
Strong analytical and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
High level of accountability, initiative, and problem‑solving ability
Motivated to grow within a legal or corporate environment
Thrives in a team setting while demonstrating the ability to independently manage assignments
Work Environment
This is a hybrid position, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in office. Mondays and Fridays are remote.
Salary
$75,000.00-$95,000.00, plus overtime and bonus.
