Senior Payroll Associate

$85-90k + bonus (depending on experience)
Position Summary
One of Vaco’s real estate clients is looking for a Senior focused on payroll to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience with relevant payroll processing experience, some reconciliation work, and multi-unit or multi-location type structure backgrounds.
Responsibilities
Payroll, benefits, 401k, PTO processing in a high volume environment
Completing analyses and analytics around FTEs, PTO
Assist withgeneral ledger entries, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
Garnishments, payroll tax compliance
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
Partner with cross-functional teams to address financial reporting and operational issues.
Contribute to process improvements and automation to streamline financial workflows.
Requirements
5+ years of experience, with a strong background in high volume payroll processing
Bachelor’s degreeis preferred, not requiredli>
Workday experience is a huge plus
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
