CNC OPERATOR

Randstad is currently partnering with a premier engineering and manufacturing client in Bohemia, NY, to find a skilled and dedicated CNC Machinist to join their growing production team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leader in high‑precision technology in a clean, professional environment.
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in CNC machining and setup.
Technical Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints and understanding G‑code/M‑code.
Precision: Manual dexterity and experience using precision measuring instruments.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; technical trade school certification is a plus.
Reliability: Work ethic and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
Salary: $65,000 – $70,000 per year.
Shift: First. Work hours: 7 AM – 4 PM. Education: High School.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate
CNC machines (Lathes or Mills) to perform complex machining operations.
Read and interpret
blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications.
Monitor machine performance
and make necessary offset adjustments to maintain part integrity.
Perform quality inspections
on finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and depth gauges.
Maintain equipment
by performing routine maintenance and ensuring a safe, organized workspace.
