Assistant Property Manager | Luxury Residential Portfolio | NYC Owner/Developer
This is an exciting opportunity with a well-established, privately owned real estate development and management firm. The company oversees a high-end residential portfolio and continues to grow through thoughtful acquisitions and long-term investment strategy. This role will support the oversight of four luxury residential buildings, offering excellent exposure to day-to-day operations, tenant relations, and property performance within a stable, collaborative environment. Responsibilities
Support day-to-day operations across a portfolio of luxury residential properties in Manhattan
Manage tenant relations, including communication, issue resolution, and service coordination
Coordinate property inspections and ensure overall building standards are maintained
Oversee DOB, HPD, and other regulatory compliance, including tracking and resolving violations
Monitor and manage work orders, ensuring timely completion and quality control
Assist with apartment turnovers, including coordination with vendors and internal teams
Support ongoing capital projects and building improvements
Assist with financial reporting, including variance reports and budget tracking
Experience
3+ years of experience in property management, ideally within residential real estate
Strong understanding of NYC building operations, compliance, and tenant relations
Experience working with DOB/HPD and handling violations
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Polished, professional demeanor with strong communication skills
Motivated, proactive, and team-oriented with a strong work ethic
Compensation
$80k–$95k plus benefits, bonus, 401k and other valuable perks.
