## Description**Senior Accountant****Location:** New Castle, DE**Employment Type:** Full-Time**Salary Range:** $85,000 - $95,000**Position Summary**We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our accounting team in New Castle, Delaware. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate is analytical, collaborative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position reports directly to the Accounting leadership team.**Key Responsibilities*** Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including oversight of accounts payable, cash receipts, accounts receivable, credit card transactions, and payroll as needed* Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations* Lead month-end and year-end close processes* Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies* Analyze financial data and provide insights to management* Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis* Oversee fixed assets, accruals, and prepaid expenses* Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls## Qualifications**Qualifications & Experience*** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required* 4+ years of progressive accounting experience* Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards* Proficiency and hands-on experience with financial management software (e.g., Oracle, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills required* Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities* Strong written and verbal communication skills* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
