About Farsyt
Farsyt is a venture-backed independent insurance agency built differently. Founded by technologists with deep roots in AI and machine learning, we combine the carrier access and client relationships of a traditional independent agency with the automation infrastructure of a modern tech company. We're licensed across personal lines and small commercial, with an expanding carrier portfolio and the tools to let producers spend more time selling and less time on admin.
The Role
As our first CSR, you'll be the operational backbone of the agency. You'll own the service relationship for our client base — handling everything from policy changes and certificates to renewals and carrier submissions — so our producers can stay focused on new business. You'll work closely with both the production team and directly with clients, and you'll have real influence over how we build our service workflows.
This isn't a call center role. It's a high-trust position at a small, fast-moving agency where your work is visible and your efficiency directly drives agency growth.
What You'll Do
Process policy changes, endorsements, and cancellations across personal lines and small commercial accounts
Prepare and submit ACORD applications and carrier-specific supplemental forms on behalf of producers
Issue certificates of insurance and evidence of property
Manage renewal reviews — pull loss runs, request updated information from clients, and prepare remarket submissions when needed
Handle inbound client inquiries by phone and email, resolving coverage questions and service requests promptly
Order MVRs, loss runs, and inspection reports as needed
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the agency management system
Support producers during the quoting and binding process with data entry and follow-up
Identify cross-sell and rounding opportunities and flag them to the appropriate producer
What We're Looking For
Active P&C producer license, or willingness to obtain one within 90 days of hire (we'll sponsor and support)
2+ years of experience in an insurance agency or carrier service role preferred
Familiarity with ACORD forms and standard personal lines and small commercial products
Experience with an agency management system (Applied Epic, EZLynx, Hawksoft, or similar)
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple open items without things falling through the cracks
Clear, professional written and verbal communication — clients will rely on you
Someone who takes ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do next
