IT Support Assistant, 2-C
Job Description
Telos Corporation protects IT assets for security‑conscious organizations. This role supports cyber, cloud, and enterprise security by maintaining equipment, performing system maintenance, and ensuring network and email administration. The position is contingent on contract award.
Responsibilities
Operation and maintenance of high‑speed, high‑capacity multifunction printers.
Moving and relocating equipment within and between facilities.
Interviewing clients as part of pre‑deployment asset discovery.
Repairing and replacing defective equipment.
Updating asset management system to reflect work performed.
Installing and maintaining PC hardware and software and applying configuration profiles.
Troubleshooting network usage and computer peripherals.
Performing system backups and data recovery.
Resolving network communication problems.
Email administration.
Network security operations.
Preparing assets for disposition and other administrative duties.
Network operations and maintenance.
Familiarity with inside and outside plant operations.
Familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls, etc.
Familiarity with cabling and splicing.
Transporting equipment between multiple facilities within an assigned service area.
Responsible for deployment, downloads, and local installations.
Qualifications
High school diploma and basic training in IT support, including on‑the‑job training.
1–2 years of related experience.
DOD Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain.
Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Professional attitude regarding attention to detail.
Accurate and timely submission of required reports and documentation.
Licensed and able to drive a vehicle.
Ability to climb a 10‑ft ladder and lift at least 40 lbs.
U.S. citizenship required.

The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to access sensitive information, and Telos will conduct drug testing and verify work authorization via E‑Verify.
