Salary: $2,342.51 - $2,542.51 /wk Become a vital part of a healthcare team as an experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist. You will follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, operate CT imaging equipment, and assist with CT-guided invasive procedures across emergency, inpatient, observation, and outpatient settings. Minimum Requirements: 2 years CT technologist experience required. Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiologic program or equivalent education. Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification with advanced registry in CT required. BLS certification required. Experience performing venous and arterial phase scanning, multi-phase scanning, stroke imaging including perfusion, and colorectal studies. Ability to start peripheral IVs and assist with CT-guided invasive procedures. Experience working in hospital environments including ED, ICU, inpatient, observation, and outpatient areas preferred. Familiarity with EPIC (EMR), Epic Radiant (RIS), and Philips iSite (PACS) preferred. Experience with Siemens CT scanners (Definition AS 40, Force, Edge +) and power injectors preferred. Two years of experience is required; first-time travelers will be considered (preferred). Radius requirement: traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles outside of the home unit. Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital. Primary specialty: Computed Tomography Technologist. Shift: Nights. Shift hours: 2000-0800. Standard hours per week: 36. Duration: 13 Week travel assignment. Department case mix: ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient studies; CT-guided invasive procedures performed; cardiac CT performed on dayshift seven days/week. Department support: Radiology nursing support and guest services/transport available for inpatient and observation patients. Additional Information: Department technology includes three CT scanners (Siemens Definition AS 40, Siemens Force, Siemens Edge +) and Bayer/Medrad power injectors. The department performs an average of 160 studies per weekday and 120 studies on weekends. The hospital has approximately 373 licensed beds and offers services including X-ray, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, Interventional Radiology, and Nuclear Medicine.
