Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations of a Domino’s Pizza store. The successful candidate will ensure the store runs efficiently, maintains high customer service standards, and supports the team in meeting sales and operational goals.
Responsibilities
Manage all shift activities, including cost control, inventory control, cash handling, and customer relations.
Follow all company policies and procedures 100% of the time and set an example for the crew.
Staff scheduling, paperwork, and compliance with all regulations.
Maintain food quality, safety, and store cleanliness.
Ensure timely marketing and promotional activities to drive sales.
Oversee profitability and adhere to standards for a perfect store image.
Handle attendance, punctuality, and transportation responsibilities.
Administer inventory and restocking of ingredients and supplies.
Provide training and coaching to new and existing team members.
Support delivery operations as required, including driving, flyer distribution, and customer service.
Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling as part of store duties.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in a fast‑paced food service environment.
Strong math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and cash handling accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication, including order processing over the phone.
Manual dexterity, eye‑hand coordination, and ability to use a computer, keyboard, or touch screen for order entry.
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle.
Ability to navigate a delivery route, including adverse terrain and multiple flights of stairs.
Strong customer service orientation and ability to work independently or as part of a team under pressure.
Physical Requirements and Work Conditions
Perform standing, walking, and occasional sitting for paperwork tasks.
Lift cargo up to 50 pounds and stack items up to 72 inches high.
Carry, push, pull, and climb as required for pizza preparation and storage.
Work in temperature ranges from 36°F to 90°F+ inside or outside the store, with exposure to hot surfaces, food odors, and cornmeal dust.
Handle sharp edges, mechanical parts, and uneven surfaces safely.
