Summer Laborer - Ready Mix

What You’ll Do
Promote Safety: Take an active role in prioritizing safety throughout the operation for yourself and others at all times in accordance with OSHA and Vulcan standards.
Perform General Physical Activities: Assist with the daily operation of the plant, including using hand tools, cleaning, washing, sweeping, shoveling materials, and handling 40 lb. bags of ice.
Additional Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned.
Skills You’ll Need
Experience: Training is available.
Certifications: A valid Driver’s License is required.
Knowledge of Best Practices: Preferred knowledge of general principles and practices of industrial maintenance, construction, or aggregate production.
Flexibility: Must be able to work overtime and extended hours, work outdoors in all weather conditions, and tolerate loud noises.
Mechanical Skills: Some knowledge of industrial tools, their uses, and maintenance.
Benefits
Hourly Range: $20.00 - $22.50, with compensation based on skillset, experience, job scope, and market data.
