Job Overview
In this internship, you will support the Mobile Services Unit (MSU) at Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities by assisting with the planning and coordination of community outreach events, health fairs, and MSU activities. You’ll help prepare for and attend events across the state of Ohio, set up the MSU’s mobile office features and technical equipment, research potential community partners and outreach opportunities, prepare branded outreach materials, draft promotional content for supervisor review, coordinate logistics like scheduling meetings, managing email communications, tracking MSU activities and metrics, compiling monthly summaries, and organizing consent forms and event documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
Interest in community outreach, public health, or mobile service delivery
Experience creating social media content or basic graphic design
Familiarity with data entry or reporting tools
Bilingual skills in ASL and/or Spanish
Currently enrolled college student (junior, senior, or graduate level)
Required Skills
Strong organizational and time‑management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
Pay Information
Freshman: $16.01
Sophomore: $17.34
Junior: $18.67
Senior: $20.00
First Year Grad: $21.33
Second Year Grad: $22.66
Third Year Grad or higher: $24.00
Location and Travel Requirements
Roles are primarily in‑office but may require adjusted on‑site requirements based on space availability. Significant travel within Ohio is required. The selected candidate must provide own transportation or obtain a valid driver’s license to operate a state vehicle.
