McMenamins on the Columbia is hiring for a Prep Cook. Description of the Position
The primary responsibility of this position is opening the kitchen and producing any food preparation needed for the restaurant. Duties include slicing, chopping, preparing cold and hot sauces, proper rotation of product, general walk‑in organization, kitchen sanitation duties, and line cooking duties. Each prep cook is responsible for the organization and cleaning of their work area. Being a prep cook requires hard physical work, mental agility, and the ability to effectively multi‑task in a fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented environment. A prep cook must also be able to work well independently and as a member of a team.

Qualified Applicants Must:

Obtain and maintain a current food handlers card.

Have previous cooking experience (preferred).
