Every person. Every time.**JOB SUMMARY**Assists the pharmacists with support activities and processes related to medication distribution within the hospital. Receives medication and other supplies for storage. Stocks Automated Medication Dispensing Cabinets (AMDCs) or areas where medications are stored. Prepares, packages, and labels medications to be dispensed to patients. Compounds non-sterile products according to USP
standards. Shows compliance with receiving and handling of hazardous drugs according to USP
standards. Demonstrates computer proficiency with software related to dispensing of medications. Additional duties such as compounding of sterile products per USP
guidelines, compounding hazardous sterile products per USP
guidelines, and pharmacy technician duties in the operating room satellite pharmacy may be expected at the discretion of the Pharmacy Operations Manager.At Vitruvian Health, we serve with compassion.
