Every person. Every time.JOB QUALIFICATIONSEducation: Graduate of a professional registered nursing program. BSN preferred.Licensure: Current license from the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse. Current drivers license, CPR certification, and valid automobile insurance.Experience: Minimum of three years clinical. Previous experience required in active participation in organizational improvement, performance improvement, regulatory surveys, working with regulatory performance initiatives or OBQI/OBQM data, benchmarking activities, or JCAHO surveys. Infection Control and Nursing Education experience preferred. Supervisory experience preferred.Skills: Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid licensure requirements. Knowledge of the professional nursing theory and practice to indirectly evaluate patient care. Knowledge of organizational policies, regulations and procedures to administer patient care. Skill in applying and modifying the principles, methods and techniques of professional nursing to provide on-going patient care. Skill in identifying problems and recommending solutions. Skill in preparing and maintaining records, writing reports, and responding to correspondence. Skill in developing and maintaining department performance improvement. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public. Ability to maintain quality control standards. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures. Ability to communicate clearly. Skills in making presentations to committees, boards, staff, and regulatory and accrediting bodies. Ability to develop and manage the performance improvement activities of the department effectively. Demonstration of supervisory, management, educational and leadership skills. Knowledge of adult education principles.At Vitruvian Health, we serve with compassion.
