Housing Specialist
Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering a variety of different programs throughout Arizona. Job Summary
Responsible member of the team to assist SMI clients with criminal records obtain permanent supportive housing. Employee is expected to work with community supportive housing agencies on temporary and permanent housing opportunities. Will assess clients for readiness and recommend in‑home supports for wrap‑around services and skills training. Will provide in‑field support to clients and work with landlords to ensure ongoing safety to the client as well as the appropriateness of the placement.
Skills/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a field related to behavioral health OR a combination of education, training, and/or experience meeting A.A.C. R9‑10‑101.33 and CBI Clinical Policies and Procedure standards for BHT.
1 year experience working with the SMI population with additional experience in multiple settings and levels of care, including both mental health and substance abuse
1 year experience in a behavioral health position providing outreach and engagement activities.
Ability to pass criminal background check for jail visitation/clearance.
