Digital Press Operator
Salary:
$26.50 – $31.00 per hour; 3rd shift differential $2.00 => $28.50 – $33.00 per hour.
Shift:
3rd Shift (10pm – 6am). Training on 1st shift (6am – 2pm), then move to 2nd or 3rd shift. Must be available for overtime, weekends, holidays.
What You Will Do
Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and wear PPE.
Operate equipment to defined standards and specification targets.
Set up and prepare each job on the inkjet web press to meet established specifications.
Monitor the process and inspect the final product for quality, noting color differences.
Document operations in computer systems, including data entry and consistent monitoring.
Troubleshoot issues, perform accurate adjustments per procedures, minimize downtime.
Operate and safely work around mobile equipment.
Collaborate to meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals.
Perform regular preventative maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
Communicate effectively on shift and via email.
Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and pulling up to 12 hours per day.
Basic Qualifications
Experience working in printing or similar industry.
Experience with computer systems in a technical environment.
Experience troubleshooting machinery and quality issues.
Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
What Will Put You Ahead
Experience operating Digital and/or Flexo Printing Presses.
Experience in corrugated packaging, folding carton, printing, or POP display industries.
Experience with reliability and Preventative Maintenance systems.
Experience with print production processes and color theory.
