We are currently hiring licensed or license‑eligible Social Workers/Therapists to serve as
Chemical Dependency Counselors
at our Tempe facility.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate will be able to facilitate chemical dependency groups in inpatient or outpatient psychiatric settings. Strong group therapy skills, experience in psychoeducation, excellent customer service, and solid clinical documentation skills are essential. Candidates should also have familiarity with the utilization review process and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Requirements
Licensed or license‑eligible in Arizona:
LPC, LMSW, LMFT, or LISAC
Associate's degree requires 2 years' experience working in substance abuse treatment
Master's Degree requires 1 year experience working in substance abuse treatment
LAAC/LIAC preferred
Must hold a nationally recognized substance use certificate and have two years' experience working in the field
Must be
21 years of age or older
Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, physical and obtain fingerprint clearance
