Classification Title: Clinical Research Coord I
Classification Minimum Requirements: Associate’s degree or an allied health professional degree in an appropriate area and one year of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
Coordinate all aspects of assigned research projects facilitated by the Principal Investigator.
Recruit and consent eligible participants; screen and collect study data.
Enter and manage data in OnCore and REDCap; perform chart review and quality assurance checks.
Prepare for study visits: schedule patient visits, prepare questionnaires, label and process clinical samples.
Maintain accurate and timely study records, run reports, and develop IRB submissions and recruitment materials.
Coordinate communication for the study team and assist with literature searches, manuscript development, and academic presentations.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, trainings, and professional development; provide mentorship regarding human subjects’ research as required.
Perform tasks to support related clinical initiatives and maintain accurate records within OnCore.
Location Requirements
This position covers the following counties: St. Lucie, Indian River, Martin, and Okeechobee. Reliable transportation is required, with willingness to drive up to approximately one hour between clinical locations on weekdays.
Compensation
$46,000.00 to $47,000.00 annually
Qualifications
Required: Associate’s degree or an allied health professional degree in an appropriate area and one year of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
GCP and IATA certification.
Experience using OnCore, Epic, and REDCap.
Experience working in a clinical setting and within UF’s clinical research system.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and multi‑media capabilities.
