Position:
Boys Soccer Team Assistant (SY 26‑27) (Stipend)
Department:
Athletics
Reports to:
Director of Athletics
Affiliation:
Unit A, Section F
Salary Range:
$2,021 stipend
Time Commitment:
Six days a week.
Ten to fifteen hours a week.
Three games a week.
Season Length: 8/24/2026 – 11/23/2026
Number of Positions:
1
This is a stipend position.
Summary:
The Watertown Public Schools seeks an outstanding team assistant to coach the boys’ soccer team for the 2025-2026 school year. WPS is dedicated to excellence, equity, and community. Be a part of creating a bright future for WPS students.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Scouting opponents.
Assisting in coaching at practices or games.
Analyzing game strategy.
Implementing skill development.
Coverage on bus trips.
Video analysis of games.
Statistical analysis of games.
Coaching a specific position due to expertise.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
CPR certified.
NFHS concussion course completed.
Education / Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Degree from an accredited college or university.
