Job Summary
Reporting to the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor, the Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for the accurate entry of materials and goods received into inventory. The ideal person will be informed and organized in documentation of transactions and thrives as a materials coordinator (Shipping, damaged goods, returns). The primary point of contact for all inquiries pertaining to shipments, orders and inventory.

We’re Hiring: Shipping & Receiving – 1st Shift

Location: Bolingbrook, IL
Pay: $25.00/hour plus monthly bonus potential

Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in shipping and receiving? We’re looking for a dependable individual to join our warehouse team on

1st shift . In this role, you’ll be responsible for the accurate processing, documentation, and handling of all incoming and outgoing materials—keeping our operations efficient and on track.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments

Safely and properly package materials for shipment according to company standards

Process items for delivery using shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, and orders

Determine shipping methods, priorities, and schedules using your knowledge of routes and rates

Review international shipping documentation for compliance with regulations

Maintain timely, professional communication with internal teams and external suppliers

Perform record-keeping, filing, and other admin duties as needed

Follow all safety policies and report any incidents immediately

Assist with other tasks as assigned by the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor

What You’ll Need:

High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)

Basic math, reading, and computer skills

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate with sales, plant staff, and leadership

Previous warehouse experience including forklift operation, packing, and measuring

Familiarity with metals/material handling is a plus

Safety-first mindset with basic knowledge of first aid/CPR

Exposure to SAP, ISO standards, or Lean practices is a strong plus
