Job Description
1st Shift 6am - 2:30pm; 2nd Shift 2pm - 10:30pm
What You’ll Do
Handle, sort, and manage waste and recyclable materials in accordance with site and environmental guidelines
Operate equipment such as forklifts, tuggers, carts, balers, and foam densifiers to support material movement and processing
Assist in maintaining clean, organized, and efficient work areas across the customer facility
Support the Environmental Project Supervisor in daily operations and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain accurate inspection logs, documentation, and required recordkeeping for compliance
Assist with coordinating site visits, audits, and interactions with suppliers and customer representatives
Promote and uphold safety standards, ensuring proper use of PPE and adherence to company policies
Help identify cost-saving opportunities and support implementation of efficiency programs
Provide guidance or support to team members as directed by leadership
Complete assigned tasks and special projects in a timely and effective manner
Participate in all required company and customer-specific training programs
Perform additional duties as assigned to support site operations
What You’ll Need
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; some high school education accepted
Basic understanding of mechanical concepts and equipment operation
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with team members and customers
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physically demanding labor throughout 8–12 hour shifts
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods
Ability to work in industrial environments including exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and varying temperatures while wearing required PPE
Ability to work in or around confined spaces and wear respiratory protection when required
Ability to maintain alertness and safely perform duties in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel as needed and work extended hours, weekends, or multi-day assignments based on business needs
