Breakfast Line Cook
The Breakfast Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking high‑quality breakfast items in a fast‑paced kitchen environment. This role ensures that all dishes are made to Waterford Hotel Group’s standards of quality, consistency, and presentation. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently during peak service hours.
Responsibilities
Preparing and cooking breakfast items such as eggs, meats, pancakes, waffles, and other menu offerings according to recipes and guest preferences.
Ensuring the kitchen and prep areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked before and after each shift.
Monitoring food quality and presentation to maintain consistency and guest satisfaction.
Maintaining proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards at all times.
Assisting with inventory, restocking supplies, and reporting any shortages or discrepancies to management.
Practicing strong time management to ensure meals are served promptly and accurately.
Communicating effectively with the front‑of‑house team and fellow kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
Qualifications
A keen eye for detail, time management, and great customer service skills.
A pleasant and friendly demeanor.
Previous breakfast or short‑order cooking experience preferred.
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and cross‑contamination prevention.
Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Able to work as a team and independently.
Flexible working hours.
Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high‑performance standards.
Physical mobility and stamina.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Ability to follow instructions.
