Responsibilities
Prepare the cardiac lab procedure rooms, ensuring adequate stock, functional equipment, and proper sterilization.
Prepare patient and equipment, including site of entry, patient draping, instrument arrangement, and calibration of pressure transducers and tubing.
Operate and maintain quality control of all cath lab equipment, including understanding all related equipment.
Scrub in during procedures and assist the physician with catheter manipulation.
Obtain and record hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data using amplifiers and fluoroscopic equipment.
Monitor patient hemodynamic status throughout procedures.
Participate in life‑saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Radiologist.
Certification: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) – CI preferred, or CCI‑RCIS, plus state‑specific licensing when required.
Demonstrated ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for extended periods.
2‑Year ARRT, BLS, and CCI certification requirement (additional certifications may be required before assignment).
