Overview
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Bismarck, North Dakota.
Position: Allied Cath Lab Technologist – Travel
Duration: 13 weeks
Hours per week: 40 (8‑hour rotating shift)
Responsibilities
Prepare the cardiac lab procedure rooms, ensuring adequate stock and instrument sterilization.
Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, including site of entry, patient draping, instrument and catheter arrangement, and calibration of pressure transducers and tubing.
Operate and ensure quality control of all equipment utilized in the cath lab, with knowledge of all related equipment.
Scrub in during procedures, assisting the physician in maneuvering catheters.
Obtain and record hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data by operating amplifiers and digital and line fluoroscopic equipment.
Monitor the patient's hemodynamic status throughout procedures.
Participate in life‑saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Radiologist (Cath Lab Rad).
Must hold BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) – CI preferred or CCI‑RCIS certification, and state‑specific licensing when required.
Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
