Job Overview
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist (Allied Cath Lab Technologist – Travel) for a 13‑week assignment in Montclair, New Jersey.
Duration: 13 weeks. Hours: 40 per week, 10‑hour shifts. Employment type: Travel.
Responsibilities
Prepare cath lab procedure rooms, ensuring adequate stock and working condition of instruments, including sterilization when applicable.
Prepare patients and equipment for cardiac lab procedures, including site of entry, draping, and arrangement of sterilized instruments and catheters.
Operate and ensure the quality control of all equipment used in the cardiac cath lab; maintain knowledge of all related equipment.
Assist the physician during procedures by scrubbing in and maneuvering catheters.
Obtain and record hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data using amplifiers, digital and line fluoroscopic equipment.
Monitor the patient’s hemodynamic status during procedures.
Participate in life‑saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Radiologist (or equivalent). Certifications required or preferred: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R), CCI (RCIS). State licensing as required. Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
Compensation and Benefits
Pay package is based on 10‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend.
