Overview

A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to a team of attorneys in their Albany office.
Key Responsibilities

Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and internal materials
Manage calendars, schedules, and deadlines for attorneys
Assist with client intake and maintain ongoing client communications as needed
Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems
Coordinate depositions, hearings, meetings, court reporters, and other legal proceedings
Handle travel arrangements and conference coordination when required
Support billing, matter intake, and administrative accounting tasks
Collaborate with other administrative staff and provide cross-coverage as needed
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to firm policies and procedures
Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Qualifications

2+ years of administrative or legal support experience
Litigation experience is required
Familiarity with legal terminology, documents, and State & Federal E-Filing
Strong technical skills, including Microsoft Office and document management systems
Excellent attention to detail and strong proofreading skills
Professional demeanor and ability to work effectively with attorneys, clients, and staff
Salary and Schedule

Salary Range: $64,000 - $87,000
Schedule: Full-time - 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
