Preferred and required once hired: passing score on the ParaPro Exam or Associate's degree or higher
Must be minimum 19 years of age
DETAILS
Full-Time Position (183 DAY / 9 MONTH EMPLOYEE)
Salary is based on experience – starting salary: $23,613
Hours: 7:00 – 3:00
OVERVIEW OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist certified teachers in preparing classroom activities, maintaining discipline, and managing classroom behavior
Assist students in drills and activities and/or in small group instruction
Perform clerical duties in relation to record-keeping and instruction of the students
Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly classroom
Assist in student health needs, personal hygiene, and movement of students
Assist with student folders, notes, assignments, and testing as needed
Performs other duties as assigned by principal
