Job Summary:

He/ she is responsible for inspection and monitoring of the manufacturing process by verifying product to ensure that all in‑process procedures are being followed. Must follow all GMP’s, HACCP and food safety procedures. Possesses knowledge of quality standards and applies that knowledge during audits of procedures and product to ensure that in‑process quality standards are maintained. Reports any deviations from established quality standards or procedures so that corrective action can be taken by appropriate individuals.

Essential Job Functions

Adheres to all good manufacturing practices (GMP), food safety, HACCP and SQF process requirements; rectifies and/or reports any non‑compliance to Management or the SQF practitioner immediately.

Attends meetings as required.

Inspects and monitors all in‑process manufacturing activities in accordance with applicable inspection work instructions, reporting any facility work rule infractions.

Audits finished product entering staging area or warehouse per inspection instructions.

Inspects and monitors all print runs to ensure print applications meet criteria on specification sheets.

Performs general testing of indicators of in‑process product to determine compliance with established quality criteria.

Immediately informs responsible employees of any failure to meet established quality standards to ensure corrective action is taken.

Records activities, findings, and testing results in appropriate forms or on the quality lab computer.

Submits records of inspection and audit to Shift Supervisor or responsible employee at end of shift.

Maintains all housekeeping standards by keeping work areas clean at all times.

Performs any other assigned duties.

Provision for Coverage of Position Due to Absence

If the Quality Control Auditor is absent, another Quality Control Auditor or trained QA backup will cover during unavailability.

Performs other duties as assigned by WinCup leadership as needed.

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma

Required Experience/Skills:

Quality Auditor Experience Preferred

Physical Demands (Manufacturing Plant)

Frequently actively listens and exchanges information.

Observes and assesses information in a fast‑paced environment.

Requires frequent use of production, manufacturing equipment and/or machinery.

Moves/transport materials weighing up to 50 pounds, often bending, twisting and reaching.

May remain stationary for extended periods.

May stand for long periods up to 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts.

May talk, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle and feel objects, tools and controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crawl or crouch.

Work Environment (Manufacturing Plant)

Work space contains moving mechanical parts.

Indoor manufacturing environment that may be exposed to extreme heat and is not air‑conditioned.

Environment contains loud noises and odors that may last for long periods or continually, and occasional airborne particles.

MUST wear PPE (hairnet, hearing protection and safety glasses with side guards) at all times.

Ability to work 8+, 10+ or 12+ hour shifts as designated.

Able to work weekdays, weekends and overtime as designated.
